Here I am exploring shape as a method of working. My aims here were to try keep everything as simple as possible and try to only show the vital information. Generally using shape provides immediately recognisable results for the audience. I have found that digital has proven the best way to communicate shape as the results are dynamic, clean and powerful. I have been really inspired by the work of Olympia Zagnoli in particular this week by her bright and simple yet witty illustrations.
A problem that I faced this week was that the analogue approaches that I took were very difficult to figure out how to put it onto paper, digital was better as it was much easier to change something if it went wrong and I also love the bright block colours that you can achieve onscreen.
